Saturday Night Rodeo!

Every time I go to a rodeo, it makes me wish I had land and horses a little more. Not for the rodeo part, just for the fun of riding.

We spent our Saturday night at the Payson rodeo with some good friends! The barrel racers were great, but there were no times for the bull riders. None of them could hold on for the full 8 seconds! Landon enjoyed the steer wrestling most, like always. I enjoyed the mutton busting and barrel racing. Paisley loved the drill team and kept clapping for them! She was so interested the whole time.

Anyways, here's to more dreaming of that nice comfy home, big piece of land, and a barn full of good riding horses for our family <3 And here's to making sure that dream comes true!

Is SO cute! She would have ridden this bike all day if I had the energy to push her around that long. Her little legs couldn't quite reach the pedals but she sure did love the ride. Our visit to the mountains this weekend couldn't have been better. I hope we get to live there someday <3

Vacation <3

  Although it was short, we had a blast in California with family and friends this past weekend! Our friends Sam and Joey Swope were so hospitable to us and let us crash at their place for 2 nights. (I LOVED catching up with them!). We spent hours on the beach with family, (and got burnt pretty bad..), and had a blast playing sand volleyball with family and some great friends! Definitely an nice and much needed vacation.

So a few weeks ago, Paisley and I went to Maine to visit my family. We went to the beach on the east coast, and Paisley hated it. She was fine on a blanket, but she just didn't like the sand or water at all. Later, she wouldn't even put her feet in the dirt! Here is a video so you see..

After a few minutes with her grandpa, we was loving sticking her feet in the water, and soon after started crawling and playing in the sand! She got SO comfortable, actually, that she ate several handfuls of it. (She is QUICK! I couldn't get to her in time every time I saw a handful of sand go towards her mouth).

Landon and I got to swim in the ocean and buggy board quite a bit, and a fun game of beach volleyball wrapped up each day before dinner.

I already can't wait for vacation next Summer! Aspen Grove with the whole family, and hopefully a beach trip sometime, too :)

1 year down..

Paisley turned 1 on July 29.. and we celebrated! It was so fun to have all of our family and friends together to celebrate our sweet girl. We are so grateful for the smile that she brings to our faces every single day and for the constant reminder of the love of an eternal family. I still can't believe that she is 1!
